While I'm on the jewelry topic, did I ever show you my wedding ring?  Here's the most beautiful and loved piece of jewelry I will ever own.  Everytime I look at it, I'm reminded of one of the happiest days of my life and of how much I love my husband. 

We got engaged on our 3 year anniversary and married 1 year later on 2.21.09.  Love.

I'm still working on new items.  They will be listed very soon.  I'll be working with my sister and mom tomorrow, so I won't be blogging until Friday.  Oh and we're picking up our Teutonia baby stroller this weekend!!

Love is in the air

Sorry I missed a few days of blogging.  On Friday I drove down to work with my sister on some Twigs & Honey pieces.  She lives 1.5 hours away from me, so it was a full day.  Saturday the hubs and I stayed in our PJs all day and relaxed for the first time in a while.  Felt good!  Yesterday we went to our friend's engagement party. 

We're attending another wedding this December, while I'm 37 weeks.  That'll be fun!  And so far we're attending 5 weddings next year.  Wow!  I'm absolutely loving all this happiness around me.  It is so amazing to be a part of all these celebrations. 

Yesterday - Good food, good company, good times.  I only have a minutes before I head out so here's a quick post and a few photos.

My new diaper bag!  It is so cute and roomy, I'm very tempted to start using it as my everyday bag right now!  There are so many pockets inside and out, so it's really functional.  I didn't want something with daisies or teddy bears on it.  I wanted something stylish and easy to carry.  I was going to get a unisex bag, but my loving hubby said he wanted me to be happy and would be glad to carry the diaper bag around even if it was covered in pink flowers.  Sweet right?!

I also picked up a BellaBand.  It's suppose to help keep my pants up, which would be awesome.

I bought a pair of Paige Premium Maternity jeans with the elastic waistband.  They're so cute and Paige is definitely my favorite denim designer, but since I wear them under my belly, they tend to slide down during the day.  Hopefully, the band will help.  I'll take photos of it all next time I wear it.

Running out of titles...

I like seeing which celebrities are pregnant and due around the same time as me.  Keeps me informed on what kind of clothes or baby things I might want to keep an eye out for.  Ali Larter has the same due date as me!  She's in the new Resident Evil movie.  I love those movies.

Here's a peek at our baby shower invitations.  Everybody seems to be going the technology route and sending shower invites to me via Evite.  Which is totally fine, but I think it's so much sweeter when you get something in the mail.  Plus, believe it or not, I still know people who don't use or check their email. 

Freaking cute baby shoes not included.  Those are for mommy and daddy's enjoyment.

Have you noticed that I love dresses?  Well, if you haven't... I do.  They're easy peasey, plus you can wear them year 'round.  Just add some tights and boots and you're set!  Here's a few I like.

Busy Monday

I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday because we had a really full day.  My parents bought us our baby stroller.  It's so amazing.  I saw it a few months ago and have been wanting it since.  It's the Teutonia T-Linx Stroller System.  It's coming from Europe, so it won't be here for another 2-3 weeks.  I'll be sure to take some photos.

Our new Haan steam mop arrived.  Works so well!  We had been using Swiffer to mop up our hardwood floor but it leaves behind a lot of chemicals and I couldn't imagine letting our baby crawl around on that.  No chemical residue and it's super easy to use.

Then we shopped around for baby shower invitations.  I really wanted to make them all by myself, but sometimes DIY costs more in materials and time than just buying something.  Anyway, we found some really cute letterpress paper that I'm going to print our invites on.  I'll share some photos when I'm done. 

We ended the day with some friends.  My hubby's good friend has been visiting for the last several weeks from Slovakia and he's leaving in a few days.  Seems like the older we get the more friends move away.  That's just a part of life I guess.  Good times though.

Tuyet and Justin's Wedding Day

The wedding ceremony and the reception were lovely.  It was great seeing another friend get happily married.  And it was great catching up with old friends.  My only complaint was that I wish they let the pregnant ladies go through the buffet line twice, because we get HUNGRY!  We weren't able to make it to my other friend's birthday party because we didn't leave the reception until really late and being on my feet that long in high heels is tough these days.

Ok, so I was suppose to wear my Asos to the wedding but instead of arriving yesterday like it was suppose to, it came today while we were gone.  Figures.  Well... please again excuse the dirty hallway mirror and the bad indoor lighting, but here's what I should have been wearing.

My hubby thinks this next dress looks like a nighty and doesn't like the color.  I think it's sweet and perfect for the baby shower.  He also thinks flat boots are ugly.  So, I think... "he knows nothing about fashion".  But I wonder...

Should I keep it?  Or return it?

*update | i'm returning the brown dress.  it cost too much to be getting such mixed reviews.

My Favorite New Toy

I waited in line for 30 minutes outside of Best Buy's pre-grand opening.  I made a bee-line for the cameras.  Spent another 30 minutes getting out the door with my new favorite toy.  Which I got on sale, thank you very much 2 hour one time only sale.  Here is the big reveal...

just noticed i'm not wearing my wedding ring here.  i don't wear them at home for risk of banging them around while i'm washing the dishes or doing laundry.  i should have done my nails.  yuck.

Isn't it just lovely?!  I'm still a super newbie with these SLR cameras, so please be patient with my photos.  We're attending my friend's wedding this afternoon and my other friend's birthday party tonight.  Then the hubs is dirt bike riding tomorrow and Monday we're with friends and family.  SO... that means lots of new photos.  Yipee!
