WildPeace Organics Review & GIVEAWAY!!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Ying of WildPeace Organics and when I saw this herringbone wool clutch I just had to have it!  Ying very generously offered me one for a review and I absolutely love it.  It is so well crafted and designed.  Her attention to detail is truly obvious.  I am really excited to start using it this fall & winter.  I'm planning on pairing it with some cognac leather boots, skinny jeans, and a cozy sweater.  I just adore wool this time of year... don't you?!

She also makes an indigo stripe clutch that I think is just darling and perfect for spring & summer.  I think it would be cute with a breezy top, linen pants and brown leather sandals.  Never too early to think about summer!!

From the artist herself...Ying...
"I'm a full time teacher by day, and WildPeace Organics is my inspiration, my craft, and my therapy. For me, it's really a state of mind where I can create for the pure pleasure of it. And I'm so thrilled that the Etsy community has responded so positively to my work. I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband Kyle (also a teacher and furniture builder/ ceramics artist)."

And just incase you don't want to wait for your chance to win a clutch, you can purchase them right HEREFree shipping for all fans of  > > > WildPeace Organics < < <  on Facebook!

Infusion on Etsy. Good find.

I found this fantastically wonderful seller by chance on Etsy. Infusion.  I just love how she mixes materials like wool and leather.  Just my style.  I love mixing different materials.  It adds a little something special I think... don't you?  I requested a custom size so that I could use it as a clutch instead of a pencil pouch.  So excited to get it!!

Also loving these bags as well.  They would be so perfect for a weekend trip or carry on.  I just love everything in Abby's shop.  Clean, simple, excellent.

I love my family

We had a family session last month when Gavin was 9 months.  The weather here is unpredictable so our shoot was rescheduled several times.  Finally, on the last day we could shoot... the clouds parted and the sun came out.  Jenn of Out Came the Sun Photography did an amazing job.  We love how they turned out.  Here are a few shots from the day...

Meet and Greet Outfit

I generally tend to stick to black, gray, navy, and white but lately have been wanting to try out bright blues and greens.  My outfit for my friend's meet and greet for her 1 month old daughter.

Good luck!!

I ordered these corduroy pants from Victoria's Secret and I have to tell you... they're awesome!  I am not a brand snob at all... except when it comes to jeans & pants.  Then I'm all 7 for all Mankind and Paige.  Oh how I love Paige.  Anyway, so venturing out to other brands is huge.  That means they're amazing.  And these are.  Great price, fun colors, good fit.  True to size so be sure to check out their size chart.

I am planing on getting these pants next, since now I know VS actually makes some decent pants!!  And who doesn't love a good legging?!?!

Unexpected at home

I love adding pieces around our home that are unique and unexpected.  I think it keeps modern decor from looking too stark.  When I saw this wooden alphabet in bookhouathome's etsy shop, I just had to have it.  We bought it in September, but busy parents can relate... we just now put it up!

A few more items I purchased from bookhouathome.  Arounna screenprints her own designs onto totes and pouches.  I bought a big stack of these pouches to give out as stocking stuffers next month.  The tote is perfect as my 2nd diaper bag.  Its canvas so I don't feel bad about tossing it around.

Here's another unexpected piece we added a few months ago.  It's a wooden chandelier from uncommon handmade.  It's actually quite large in person but looks small in the photograph.  I love white accessories amongst all our dark wood furniture.

And here's an unexpected photo to my home edition post...

Last minute costume purchase... way too small, so I cut off the bottoms.  Lol!
