Cirque du Soleil ~ KOOZA!
Oh my gosh I'm SO excited. We just bought tickets to Cirque du Soleil Kooza. This will be the 3rd live Cirque I've seen. The 1st being Allegria and the 2nd being Corteo. I grew up watching it on HBO and I always dreamed about watching in person. The live experience is unimaginable. You can feel the music's power pulsating through your body. I get chills everytime I hear the music start. And the acts are amazing! The makeup, costumes, music... it's all breath-taking. If you have never seen Cirque live, save your pennies and check it out. It only comes through Portland every few years, so this is a real treat for us.

we have seen a live show once and I will never forget it. I am so glad we went!

ReplyDeleteI have never been to a circus -- I feel so lame! However, the pictures I see always make it seem so exciting and inspiring... The colors, the patterns, the feeling of drama!

Yes... definitely an experience you can never forget. It's really hard to explain how it feels to be there in words.
ReplyDeleteJosie-It's nothing like the circuses you watch as a child with the elephants and lions. This is for adults and the photos absolutely do not do it justice.

ReplyDeleteI have seen a few of the Vegas productions - O, Ka and the forgettable one that shows at NY, NY casino. LOVE them!
I haven't been to any, but it's on my list of things to do before I die! lol. I know that's a little dramatic, but I really do want to see a show

Looks amazing (: I've seen a couple of Cirque Du Soleil shows here in Vegas. My friend's family actually works with a lot of them & her sisters are in many of the shows o__O It's pretty crazy.

A few years ago my wife and I saw KA during a week long date in Vegas. It was great--and I hear it's not even one fo the best. We wanted to see O, but the timing didn't work out.

OMG I love Cirque..I've seen 4 of their shows and two of them twice.. I took Mike and he was in love with it too..I hope you guys have fun. Tell us how it was :) I'm so excited for you..and Oh so jealous! You guys are always doing fun things :)
ReplyDelete..you know , it's wierd but I actually don't like cirque , don't know why , I was going a lot when I was a child and now cirque don't bring me no excitiment !!! but I wish I could go again on this one , maybe it would change my thoughts ..

ReplyDeleteI have been to see Dandelion in London at the Royal Albert Hall, such an amazing experience! I got treated with champagne on a private balcony by my boss!
ReplyDeletethe other one was Allegria in Milan, but it was in a big circus tent like, really not that cool.
But both the times I was amazed by the music and the costumes.
