Rings On Top Of Rings

What a busy year it has been. I feel like we are just non-stop all the time. It's great... just makes me appreciate any down time that much more. 

Thought I would share these beauties with you because they are just too pretty not to. After I finished making all of these rings by hand, I could barely move my fingers but I was just so happy to know that these would all have new homes across the globe. These were from the ring portion of a large wholesale order. Whenever I have to make many items over and over, I tend to do them all in one sitting. It's really hard work but the feeling of accomplishment is just so worth it. The Serendipity Rings are one of my favorites. Each one is a little different from the last making them all perfectly unique.

Just listed the sweetest little stacking rings. I just adore these so much. I make each ring by hand as I do with all my rings. I solder, harden and polish every element making each piece completely unique. The moon and star are itty bitty making them perfectly stackable. Tator Tat

You may or may not know that Junghwa is my legal middle name and also my official Korean name.  Jung happens to be my dad's name and Hwa is my mom's name.  Yeah, and it's an actual real name.  What are the chances of that right?!  That's a good reason why I love it so much.  But the main reason I hold it so close to me is that my grandparents, on my dad's side, were the only ones to ever call me by that name.  They lived in Korea, so I didn't get to see them often, but I loved them... a lot!  They passed away a number of years ago, but it still feels like just yesterday that we were together. 

And the reason for this story is that, I've decided to get my first tattoo.  I've waited this long because I wanted to get something meaningful.  Something I wouldn't regret 30 years from now.  So... I've decided on getting Junghwa on the inside of my right wrist.  I know it's corny to get your own name tattooed, but this truly has a lot of meaning to me.
