I have been so busy!  Busy is good but there are just not enough hours in the day for me to get everything done!

Its only a splash page at the moment but I just wrapped up my first official photo shoot last week, so when I get those photographs back I should have a little more website to share.

I'll post more information about the shoot in a few weeks when I get the photographs back from my photographer.  There's lots to share!  But a quick thank you to my amazing photographer Jenn, model Lavenda, makeup & hair stylist Madeline, and my sister Myra.  I felt very fortunate to be around such talent!

So, other news... I just got my new Canon Lens 50mm 1.4 and its awesome!  Definitely worth the investment.  I think it adds a depth to my photographs that I just couldn't get with my stock lens.  I'm very happy with it.  I just got it this morning so I haven't had much time to play around with it but here are two photos I think show how much fun you can have with it. 

Incase you're wondering, Gavin is 14 months now.  They grow so fast don't they?  I just love him so much!!!!  I hope you all have been doing well.  I hope to find more time to keep up new posts.  I miss everyone!

Hello Friends

Wow talk about busy.  Phew!  We just moved into our brand new house!  I need to take some photos and share them with you when we get some more decorating done.  It's still such a mess.  We're settling in pretty well and I don't miss our rental home at all.  Being first time home owners is so amazing!  Such a dream having a loving husband, wonderful amazing baby boy, and a new home to call our own.  I feel truly blessed. 

Anyway, Gavin is 3 months old now.  Can you believe it?  He just started rolling over from his tummy to his back.  A big milestone.  I was just jumping up and down with joy.  His first attempt made him a little grumpy, but now he loves it!

Mommy I rolled over and I don't like it!  Waaaah!

Happy 3 month birthday bubba!

I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight... yay!  But I have a long way to go on getting my muscle tone back.  I just started Winsor Pilates at home again.  I haven't found anything else that I like as much.  Wish me luck!!

I started using this amazing self-tanner mousse by St Tropez.  It's a mousse and so easy to use.  It doesn't have that telltale self-tanner smell, which I love and it just glides on your skin.  It's hard to get off your hands so I suggest getting their self-tanner remover as well.  Along with my body, I want my tan back!  This stuff works!!

My new tan will look awesome with my new lace skirt I just picked up from Forever 21.  I haven't been shopping much for myself these days because my clothing sizes keep changing.  Plus, I want to shop all the time for baby Gavin and our house!  Cute though right?  I love lace done right.  So pretty and feminine.

Wedding favors and ME

Wedding season is around the corner.  We'll be attending 4 weddings this year.  That is definitely a record for us.  Couldn't be more excited for everyone.  This is also a busy time of the year for me because brides are starting to get all their favors ordered for receptions and bridal showers.  My custom stamped linen drawstring pouches are a popular seller.  They're fully customizable and just so sweet and fun!

I can't believe it took me this long to post, but here's a few photos of me at 39 weeks pregnant.  If I remember correctly, this was one of our last outings before having the baby.  It's hard to believe I was that big!

Here I am at the hospital getting ready to be induced and eventually end up having a cesarean.  My doctor said I was all baby.  I felt so big, but I was so insanely excited for little Gavin to arrive.  I feel like tearing up just thinking about it. 

The hospital was amazing.  The rooms were perfect.  The staff was awesome.  Thank you Legacy!!

Here we are on New Year's Eve.  First New Years in a while that we didn't go out.  I think we had about 10 seconds of sleep that week.  I was very happy to stay home with my family.

Here's my love at 6 weeks.  He says "don't touch my toys!"

And here's me almost 7 weeks post pregnancy.  Laundry, baby toys and junk in the background due to lack of space and time.  No make up just out of the shower due to lack of time.  What a mess!  But I love my baybeh!  And I love the fact that I'm only 2 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight.  Yahoo!

Motherhood is so fun and exciting.  Everyday is a new special day with Gavin.  We just love him with all our hearts.  He's growing so fast.  Today he's 9lb15oz.  Our big boy!  I ended up having a cesarean because he was just a little too big for me to birth naturally.  He started lifting his head all by himself on day 1 and now he's starting to coo and smile.  It's just so precious.  He makes the cutest facial expressions and makes me smile all the time.  About half the people say he looks like me and the other half say my hubby.  I think he's a perfect mix of both.  LOVE HIM!!

Bargains, Scuba, Baby Stuff

I absolutely love all my designer clothes and shoes, but I also love finding things at a great price.  On a whim, I decided to step into a Payless on Friday.  I was shocked, they had cute shoes!  Plus, everything in there is BUY 1, GET 1 - 1/2 OFF!!!!  I didn't take advantage of that great offer, but had I done so, my 2nd pair would have only been $10!  They are by far the most comfortable flats I have ever placed on my feet.  And me being pregnant, that says a lot.

And what's cuter with flats than leggings?!  I ordered these maternity ones the other day.  And found these comparable ones for all you girls out there that aren't pregnant at the moment.  So hot right?!

Saturday we headed up to Hoodsport, WA.  My hubby loves scuba diving.  I like to go sometimes to enjoy the scenery.  The weather turned out better than we thought and my hubby and his friend say there were tons of ocean critters to see.  There are few better things in life than fresh, crisp ocean air.  Feels so good getting out of the city sometimes.

Sunday we scoped out some park locations for our upcoming baby shower.  I'm at 24weeks3days today.  Knowing that we will be meeting our baby in 16 weeks is so amazing.  We just picked up the crib mattress yesterday for the nursery.  The crib will be arriving next month.  So exciting!!!  I'm looking forward to getting his room decorated and showing you guys.  My parents surprised us with a huge bag full of baby clothes.  Have you ever seen cuter socks?!

Fun Fact About Me Friday - Part Three

I'm starting to run out of fun facts!  I'm going to have to scour my brain for some really obscure ones for next time.  Enjoy!

1. My hubby and I dated for 3 years, then got engaged for 1 year, and have now been married for 1 year and 2 months.  I met him at a bar/dance club.  My friend thought he was cute so I went up to talk to him for her.  She ran away.  I pulled him away from the girl he was dancing with and I told him he was cute.  He asked me, "Do you want to dance or what?"  I said yes.  We've been together ever since.

4. I do not eat anything with artificial coloring (red40, blue5, yellow6... none of them).  They can potentially cause cancer or even ADHD in children.  I miss my cotton candy!!!!  Waaah!
