ReplyDeletewhat they're doing (or i guess, NOT doing) about the oil spill is really disappointing. anyway, these orange finds cheer me up as well!
ReplyDeleteyea, it is really saddening how crazy this oil spill is getting and how it is affecting our ecosystem. my friend was supposed to go on a cruise in october that ports in new orleans but they have already cancelled it b/c of the oil spill. =(
ReplyDeletei definitely don't have enough orange in my life, b/c like you, it is hard for me to wear. i do think it is a fun color though! great picks!

I love the DVF top and definitely think I need more orange in my life!
ReplyDeleteI know I shouldn't be so suspicious, but I keep wondering if BP would feel more urgency if the spill was occuring in the North Sea. It is an international company, but the Gulf of Mexico is not "home". I'm probably off-base on that.
ReplyDeleteOrange is an exciting color indeed... love those items. xoxo
ReplyDeleteArgh everytime we see the oil spill on the news, the boy just gets depressed. It's so sad and maddening to see how many times they try to plug it and fail!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, the oil spill is so sad. It's just so distressing. I honestly don't even know what else to say about it. On a happier note, I LOVE orange! I truly think that anyone can wear it; it's all about finding the perfect shade :)

ReplyDeleteOrange is a great color! So glad that is your pick!
That's a great (and conforting) story about your grandma. Thank you for sharing that.
ReplyDeletePS - I read that the head of BP would like to "get his life back". Doesn't sound like the spill's ecological impact is his top concern.
psst ... I'm also hosting a Sex and the City 2 soundtrack giveaway, if you're interested.
