Good Weekends Rule.

My bestie and her brood came down to visit the family.  I heart them so much!  I used to put makeup on just to go grocery shopping.  I was always dressed perfectly and always looking polished.  Now I'm lucky to take a shower before I head out.  Life as a new mother is definitely a huge change for me.  I still care about how I look but it's different now.  As long as I feel good, that's all that matter.  And I'm feeling pretty darn good these days all thanks to my family.  Although, it is nice to get dolled up once in a while.  My friends visiting us from out-of-town was a great excuse. 

Me and my bestie.  I was one of her bridemaids.  3 weeks later she was one of mine. 

I'm the godmother to her 2nd baby girl and she's the godmother to my baby boy. 

I hope everyone has a dear friend like her.  I am so lucky!
