Sneak Peek Photos from Twigs & Honey Lookbook

Here are a few sneak peek photos from the lookbook photo shoot.  Aren't the models amazing?  And aren't my sister's Twigs & Honey pieces lovely?  I loved being a part of this.  The lookbook is half done.  Next week will be the 2nd half of the photo shoot in studio.  So excited to see that process as well.

Behind the Scenes - Twigs & Honey Lookbook Photo Shoot

Yesterday I had the opportunity to assist my sister, Myra of Twigs & Honey with her first lookbook photo shoot.  It was a gorgeous day, beautiful location, fantastic photographer, wonderful stylist, amazing hair & makeup artist, and the best models.  All-in-all, a great shoot.  It was really fun helping my sister pick out pieces for the models to wear.  I was basically running around (actually more like walking around) helping where ever I could.  I loved it so much, I'm thinking about assisting her with all future photo shoots.

I can't show you any of the real shots today, but I can share a few behind the scenes photos of the cutest model of the day.  By the way, these photos were taken with my new Blackberry Bold 9700. Not bad huh?

A few test shots and adjustments.  Such a beautiful garden.

Olivia Bee is so sweet and so professional.  We're really hoping to work with her again in the future.

If you haven't heard of her yet, you will soon.  She is an amazingly talented photographer as well as a model.  Check out her website HERE.

P.S. Sorry, I had to add the word verification thing because I kept getting spam.  I really don't like it, but I dislike spam even more.

P.P.S. Check out Josie's blog post about my rope bracelet.  So sweet!!!  View HERE.

My Newest Fun Fact About ME

The reason I haven't been feeling well and slacking on blogging is because...

I'M PREGNANT!!!

Yes, my hubby and I are expecting.  I am 12 weeks and 4 days today.  The due date is December 25, 2010.  This will be our first baby for us and for the family.  Very exciting.

Thank you for not leaving me even though I haven't been around much.  But now you know and isn't it grand?!  My morning sickness has been easing up, but I'm still quite exhausted every day.  I do promise to be around more soon and I will post some belly photos shortly.  My photoshop is still down, but here's a sneak peek.  This is from my cell phone yesterday.

I just LOVE my little belly!!!

Alphabet Soup - Letter of the Day is P

Thanks for all your comments about the baby clothes.  I have decided to return them to Target and not donate them.  I was thinking that I didn't want to pass the badness onto some unsuspecting individual.  You know?  I'll let you know tomorrow what happens at Target.

So... we're up to P.  P is for pretty.  P is for pure.  P is for perfect.  P is also for pineapple, which is so yummy and I'm going to eat a bunch after this post.

Question of the day - Please help!

QUESTION - I recently purchased a bedding item at Target.  It came in a plastic bag with a zipper.  When I got home, I opened the bag and someone had stuffed a bunch of baby clothes into the bottom.  WHAT?!  Someone had set it up to be stolen.  I was shocked.  Some people think I should keep it, since I didn't know it had all that stuff in it.  While I think that since it was meant to be stolen that I should not be in possession of it.  But a part of me wants to just get it out of my house but then donate it.  I have no clue.

What would you do???

Alphabet Soup - Letter of the Day is O

O is for oasis.  O is for ocean.  O is for oil spill.  I am deeply saddened by the lack of regulations regarding the EPA and the oil spill that grows by the second.  Did you hear they are talking about months before it's stopped?  I love the ocean.  Sad.  Just sad.

Well, the color orange is hard for me to wear, but I think it's a very cheery color.  So here are some lovelies to cheer us up.

Hellooooooooo

Hi guys!  Sorry I haven't been updating my blog for the last week.  On top of being really busy with my shop, we were doing a lot of house hunting AND I wasn't feeling well.  Sometimes life just gets so hectic.  It's good though.  I'm glad I have things to do and I'm not just sitting there bored out of my mind.  Well, I just wanted to give you this message.  I have several orders to get out today and then I promise to update.  I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!!!
